We are thrilled to introduce the newest Chuffed Pro boot, crafted in collaboration with proud Canadian roller skater Alanna Thornhill. These boots are our most durable pro boot yet, packed with innovative features and cutting-edge technology to elevate your skating experience.
Lanna is a heavy duty skater who really puts her gear to the test. We have been working together for the last 2 years to build a skate that will stand up to the demands of her skating (and yours).
The Lanna Thornhill PRO BOOT features:
- Black leather boot with very firm supports in the places your ankles most need.
- Suede protective side and toe layers for extra durability.
- Additional cloud foam padding to offset the hardness of the boot.
- Moisture wicking lining to keep you fresh.
- Extra thick leather boot carry loop
- Alloy lace stabilising hook for secure lacing and fit.
- Double reinforced concealed eyelets.
- Internal heel securing plate to prevent heel lift.
These skates are engineered for high impact, and provide the performance needed for advanced manoeuvres and tricks. They are suitable for both park and dance skating, or for any skater who likes a firm and supportive boot.
A $15 royalty from every set of Lanna Thornhill Pro Boots purchased goes directly to Lanna, and $5 goes to Lanna’s not-for-profit organisation of choice, Red Umbrella Fund - the first and only global fund dedicated to supporting the rights of sex workers.
The Chuffed PRO comes as boot only so you can mount it to your hardware of choice.

Apexroll Roller Skate Care Guide
Keep your Apexroll roller skates in top shape with these quick care tips to ensure a smooth, long-lasting ride.
1. Clean Regularly
- Boots: Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry thoroughly. Use deodorizing spray for odors.
- Wheels: Remove and clean with soapy water. Dry completely.
- Plates/Trucks: Wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid water in truck assembly.
- Frequency: Clean after 5–10 uses or when dirty.
2. Maintain Bearings
- Remove bearings and soak in citrus cleaner for 5–10 minutes. Rinse with rubbing alcohol and dry.
- Apply 1–2 drops of skate-specific lubricant (e.g., Bones Speed Cream).
- Replace if gritty or noisy.
- Frequency: Clean every 1–2 months or after wet/dusty conditions.
3. Rotate & Replace Wheels
- Rotate wheels in a cross pattern every few weeks to even out wear.
- Replace when worn (flat spots, reduced grip). Choose wheels for your style (e.g., 83A for outdoor, 95A for indoor).
4. Check Hardware
- Tighten loose bolts, trucks, or toe stops with a skate tool monthly.
- Replace worn toe stops or damaged hardware.
5. Store Properly
- Store in a cool, dry place away from heat or moisture.
- Use a skate bag to protect during transport.
Tips:
- Avoid skating in water or mud to prevent rust and damage.
- Check your Apexroll manual for specific part specs.
- Replace parts with Apexroll-compatible components.
